Employee Development

Based on a company competency model, developed and delivered a range of 4 hour, core skills & behavioural training courses designed to raise skill levels and create a common language. Courses included:

  • Effective Meeting Management

IT Security

Design and delivery of a highly creative, company wide course designed to raise awareness of IT Security threats. Key elements:
  • Development of a humorous and informative movie depicting a day in the life of an ‘uninformed’ employee
  • Creation of a half day classroom module and an alternative eLearning module for staff who couldn’t attend
  • Coaching internal staff in delivery of module
Module was attributed with reducing security breaches by 40%.

Compliance

Design and delivery of a portfolio of 6 classroom and eLearning courses on a range of compliance topics including Code of Conduct to Anti Trust and Sanctions. Key elements were:
  • Co-development of content, quizzes and handouts
  • Development of highly interactive games
  • Coaching legal team to deliver classroom courses
Courses received positive feedback for engagement, retention and coverage.

Employee Engagement

Delivery of a series of highly interactive classroom courses designed to engage employee's in key aspects of this high tech business’s strategy, business ecosystem and business model. Key elements were:
  • Development of course flow, content and handouts
  • Co-creation of simulations and company case studies
  • Coaching of internal subject matter experts to present and facilitate these workshops
Workshops received very positive feedback.

Operations Certification

Design and delivery of a certification process targeted at operations staff in control of very high value assets and data networks. Key aspects of the project were:
  • Analysis and definition of the key tasks (activities, knowledge & skills) to be certified
  • Definition of assessment and learning activities for each task
  • Development of a toolkit to enable assessors to carry out work with confidence
  • Project management of pilot areas

Development Needs Tool

​Client organisation had developed a custom competency model for their staff which they wanted to use for development. Created a tool which drilled down on competencies to the specific behaviours and skills required to deliver on that competency. Tool contained:
  • Descriptions of 'What Good Looks Like' and 'Common Mistakes'
  • Available internal learning interventions
  • Links to external web based learning tools, templates and videos
The tool is used as part of the performance appraisal process to help managers focus on specific needs and on tactics to fulfil those needs.
